How We Met…

It’s a classic modern love story. Libby saw Ryan in the atrium at the hospital on an overnight shift and thought he was really handsome but due to his extreme case of RBF, she assumed he was a jerk. Ryan has no memory of ever seeing Libby at the hospital. 

Ryan’s Hinge profile popped up for Libby frequently but every time it did, she would just close the app. She didn’t want it to stop showing up but she also didn’t want to message him. Ryan claims Libby’s profile only appeared for him once. The “first time” Libby’s profile appeared Ryan took the bold step to like the only photo that Libby did not appear in. It was just Beau, Libby’s dog (exact photo above). Libby was intrigued but still put off by the memory of Ryan’s RBF. About 7 months later Libby finally mustered up the courage to respond to Ryan’s like. They began chatting and had their first date at Camacho Garage on April 2, 2024. 

Libby soon learned that Ryan is, in fact, the kindest and most caring person she had ever met. Beau took a little more convincing but after one biting incident and A LOT of treats, he now loves Ryan too. Libby still regrets all the time she wasted, Ryan loves to remind her that this wedding could have happened years ago. Beau has gained about 15lbs since Ryan moved in. We all hope to live happily ever after.
